Submission guidelines
All authors are invited to submit an original short paper from 4 to 6 pages (including tables, figures and references) to the Scientific Program Committee by January 19, 2025 January 31, 2025. Short papers, including an abstract (only in English) not longer than 200 words and keywords (max 4), must contain a description of the substantive problem and the analyzed data, as well as the proposed techniques and models. They are also required to incorporate a concise statement of the main results and conclusions, along with the most relevant references. Names and affiliations of all authors with the designated corresponding author and her/his email address are also required.

Notification of acceptance of contributed short papers is February 9th, 2025. The corresponding authors will be informed of the decision by the SDS 2025 Scientific Committee via e-mail communication.
Papers received by the deadline will be peer-reviewed, and notification of acceptance will be issued by February 9, 2025. The final versions of the short papers will be submitted by February 23, 2025. Important dates are to be met by the authors of both invited and contributed papers.
After acceptance, short papers will be included in the program and will be published in the pre-conference book of proceedings with ISBN in Italian Statistical Society Series on Advances in Statistics (ISSSAS)
A small selection of papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the international journal Statistical Methods and Applications
At least one conference registration and its corresponding payment is required for each accepted paper to be presented at the conference.
